Straight answers before you sign anything.
These are the questions home service owners ask us most, about the price, the website, the texting, and what happens if it is not a fit. If yours is not here, send it to us and a real person will answer it.
What it costs, and what you get for it.
Three plans, the same price for every trade, and every one billed month to month.
How much does The Lead Furnace cost?+
There are three plans. Pilot Light is $299 a month and covers your website, the sales tool for your trade, missed-call text back, website chat by text, quote follow-up, appointment reminders, review requests, hosting, and changes when you need them. Full Flame is $597 a month and adds an AI receptionist with 200 minutes a month. White Hot is $1,797 a month plus a $997 setup fee, and it adds 500 receptionist minutes, Local Services Ads, Google Business Profile management, and AI search visibility. Compare every plan.
Is there a setup fee?+
Not on Pilot Light or Full Flame. We build your website and set up your whole system as part of the monthly plan, so you do not pay anything upfront. White Hot has a one-time $997 setup fee, which covers your Local Services Ads verification, your first AI visibility pass, and your photo visualizer.
Is there a contract?+
No. Every plan is month to month, and you can cancel any month.
When is my card charged?+
Your first month is charged when you sign up. After that, you are charged on the same date each month.
Does the price change by trade?+
No. Every trade pays the same price for the same plan and gets its own sales tool. Garage door, painting, and landscaping companies can upgrade their tool to the AI version, where homeowners upload a photo of their own house or yard, for $197 a month more because every uploaded photo runs through AI. The AI version is included in White Hot.
What is not included?+
Your ad budget is never included, because it is paid directly to Google. Google Ads search management is a $997 a month add-on on any plan. Local Services Ads, Google Business Profile management, and AI search visibility are included in White Hot. The AI receptionist is included in Full Flame and White Hot, and you can add it to Pilot Light for $497 a month.
What the system does while you are on a job.
The website, the texting, and the follow-up are built to work together.
What happens when I miss a call?+
The caller gets a text from your business number in about 5 seconds. The conversation lands in one inbox on your phone, so you can pick it up when you are free instead of losing the job to the next company.
Do I have to give up Jobber, Housecall Pro, or ServiceTitan?+
No. The Lead Furnace works alongside your field service software instead of replacing it. We catch the call, text back, and follow up until the homeowner says yes, and your software keeps handling scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and payments the way it does today. Where your software allows it, we connect the two so new leads do not have to be typed in twice.
Do I keep my phone number?+
Yes. We forward your calls through the new system, so customers keep calling the number they already have.
What is the sales tool?+
Each trade gets a tool that answers the question homeowners care about most, like a cost estimator for concrete and fencing, a problem finder for plumbing and HVAC, or a color visualizer for painting. It gives homeowners an answer first, and then asks for the estimate. See the tool for your trade.
What does quote follow-up do?+
When a homeowner goes quiet after you send a quote, they get a friendly nudge by text and email, so the job does not go to whoever calls them back first.
How do review requests work?+
After every finished job, the customer gets a text with a link to leave a Google review while the job is still fresh in their mind. If your field service software already sends review requests, we turn ours off so customers only get one.
Can I see an example?+
Yes. We built sample websites for fictional companies in each trade so you can click through them like a homeowner would. See the sample sites.
From the first call to go-live.
Most of your part is one call and a few approvals.
What is the free Lead Leak Report?+
We call, text, and fill out the forms on your business the way a homeowner would, then send you a short video showing where jobs are slipping away. There is no sales pitch on the video. Get your free report.
Do I need a Leak Report before I sign up?+
No. The report is there for owners who want proof first. If you are ready now, you can sign up and we will look for leaks during the kickoff call.
What happens after I sign up?+
You get a welcome text and email with a link to book your kickoff call. On the call we go over your services, towns, hours, and how you talk to customers. Then we build your system, test every step with you, and turn it on once you approve it. See how it works.
What do I need to have ready?+
Your logo and a few job photos, your list of services, the towns you serve, and access to your Google Business Profile and phone provider. If something is missing, we help you find it.
Does anything go live without my approval?+
No. We test the whole system with you first, and nothing turns on until you sign off.
Who this works for, and who it does not.
- Owners who want the cheapest shared leads they can find
- Companies that will not reply to a booked lead within a business day
- Businesses that are already booked out and cannot take on more work
If that sounds like you, we will tell you on the first call.
How is this different from Angi or HomeAdvisor?+
Lead sites sell the same lead to several companies. The Lead Furnace helps you keep the customers who already found you on Google, on your website, or through a neighbor. See the full comparison.
Do you work with my trade?+
We build for garage doors, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, fencing, concrete, landscaping, epoxy floors, and painting. We also build for other home service trades, and we create a sales tool that fits your work on the kickoff call.
Who owns the website?+
Your domain, your business number, your content, and your customer list are yours from day one. The website becomes yours after 12 paid months, and if you leave after that, we hand you a full copy of it at no charge.
What happens if I cancel?+
You keep your domain and your customer list, and we help you move them wherever you want. If you leave before 12 paid months and want to take the website with you, you can buy it out for $150 for each month left in your first year. Read the full terms.
